This release marked the second time The Swoosh had collaborated with Berlin-based skateshop and brand, Civilist, as the two previously worked on a Dunk High back in 2013.

The SB Dunk Low Civilist packs a huge surprise into a low-cut silhouette. The sneaker features, what at first looks like, an entirely black upper. But when the sneaker is hit by any high temperature source, it morphs into a cornucopia of color. Shades of blue, red, green and yellow appear on the heat sensitive upper material, adding more layers than expected.
